Seems this whole town's gone mad,

It got hopped up on cocaine, and whiskey and lies,
Just cause it could.

and like a blind man who's just waiting for a fall,
We lie in our beds, while the world just makes no sense
At all.

That have gone on before

Well they say Ignorance is bliss
I say it's the darkest of hells
To have the truth of this life, pass you by
and you can't even tell
Well in truth sometimes I, just wanna cry,
when I stare out at the earth.
there's seven billion out there,
Who really never know, what they're worth.

They don't dream,
Like they should, anymore.
cause they've learned to live with the lies, and the crimes,
that have gone on before.

I see the people out here, they all look the same.
They all have the same look on their faces, I think that it's pain.
And I wonder if they know, they have a soul, that was born to be free
Free from all the bulls**t and lying, that their trying, so hard not to see.

Well I guess I'm not cut out, for living my life, this way,
and one day I'll be gone, I'll have gone off to find my own way.
If I don't say goodbye, please don't cry, you're here in my soul.
